Weddings

Getting married in a church symbolises a couple's readiness to publicly declare their love and commitment in the presence of loved ones and, most importantly, before God. There is a profound sense of joy that fills St Barnabas Church when a wedding takes place. The excitement of a couple’s big day makes the church come alive in a unique way, and we are always delighted to host such a meaningful occasion.

Preparing for Your Wedding Day

To ensure your wedding is everything you envision, we will meet with you several times before the big day. These meetings, held in a relaxed setting, will help you to prepare - not just practically, but emotionally and spiritually. We also schedule an evening rehearsal, so that when the day arrives, you can confidently exchange your vows before your loved ones and with God’s blessing.

We do have some guidelines for weddings at St Barnabas, but we strive to accommodate your wishes as much as possible.
